can all magma sets be lootable please?

So the reason I've been complaining so much about how crappy magma gear is because I've been looking in auction, and no potency exists there. Then I remembered that it is indeed available but only through teeth. So can we please get ALL magma sets on the loot table because no one is going to spend 125 drag kin teeth on this set, they just won't. And since those are the best sets, everyone thinks magma sucks because best sets aren't in circulation. Please just add them to the loot table for elite tindirin bosses

Huh really? Crappy?
Magma gear is basically made for surviving the new elite Maps. They give you more armor and more chances to survive against those deadly mobs. If you don't like these sets, get yourself mythic armor and helm. They're good too.
These sets give armour, not damage.

Look, I own a magma set, I know how armor helps. But I literally lost over 40 points in my damage stat. This would be a smaller gap if I could get the potency set. All I'm saying is it should be farmable. The best set for each class is not in the auction, and thus not available for most. I farm teeth, getting close to purchasing helm, but then there's a whole lot of more teeth farming to get the armor. People would be much happier if they could have easier access to assault/potency/whatever mages use.

Have you compared the potency sets to upgraded mythic? From my calculation, its still not going to be an upgrade.

No, please don't. There is a reason why the best sets are only purchasable by teeth. It should stay that way. The reason nobody was buying these items is that everyone was getting the dragonscale bars to resell. But as the price on those has dropped, I'd guess later in the season we will start to see the magma armors show up in the auction. If you have teeth, you will be spending them on something I'm sure.

That's the thing though, nobody buys magma with teeth, they get bar instead. And we all know better armors will come out because of itemization, so they've essentially made the best of magma sets non-existant in game. Nobody buys it with teeth + not lootable = best form of magma set missing from gameplay. Does this only seem silly to me?

The mage version is magma of brutality. IMO the only two sets that are even interesting is magma of brutality & security. Assault you lose a huge amount of health. But has the highest damage of the magma sets, but less then mythic. No sure what the solution is but back when you could only farm teeth for a non-tradable recipe. This made sense but now that you can farm teeth for a tradable dragonite bar, then the price of 225 teeth for the set seems expensive. Given that you probably can sell a dragonite bar for 1m-1.5m.

Agreed, it does make little sense to spend teeth on magma sets since the bar is trade able. And even if the bar drops in price, players will just hold onto the teeth because there is an expectation that the bar might be used for something else which would drive back up that value or something better will be released for sale for teeth. The Magma gear is kind of sitting in a not worth it category.

Actually you are right, I was wrong that they are the same. But the difference is subtle. They are both orange but the brutality has a silverish color where the security looks more gun metal gray. Hard to tell the difference unless you have them side by side.
