Does Cyber staff of the cosmos do AOE damage?

Does the Cyber staff do AOE damage like the Keeper staff? I see that it has less DPS, seems pretty crummy.

Nope, unless its set bonus gives way more spell damage, keeper is better in every way.

I have been testing with it trying to find ONE good use for it..... Nada! Only good use I have found is it looks sick when it attacks. Lightning drops from the sky and lifts from the ground. Yet to find any weapon procs or any new combos for it.
