How does a luck elixir from Shazbot

compare to,say for instance,a luck kit? Or a luck elixir you buy,to any of the 25% luck elixirs..Yeah,I understand that some give you an hour and some 15 to 30 minutes..The question I'm trying to ask is....Could an elixir you pay plat for be more potent than one you get from shaz..I know they all read 25% (except for a combo 30%) but is one that you buy give more of a chance than one you get for free..The way I see it STS is company..and with any company,its purpose is to make money..and a smart company would offer free samples (shazbot and klaus freebie elixirs) to get a consumer to buy the more possible drop worthy 4 plat elixir or 35 plat combo..I might be thinking to deeply into my question but curiousity has got the best of me on this..My only example is situation that continually brings this question to mind..I'll do 10 KM3 runs..5 if them will be with a shazbot/klaus luck elixir and 5 with a 4plat elixir..My results (and please keep in mind that these results are mine and mine alone and are in no relation to any other players opinions or conclusions) Plat bought elixirs seem to produce more positive results than freebie elixirs...I welcome any additional results others may have had with this...Thank You

All elixirs are the same. +25% reroll chance. The rest is, well, luck. I only got 2 locks after 30 min reroll from klass on one toon today. But, another toon got 9 locks in 30 min.

No difference. It's just about luck. Both can give you good runs or bad. Same goes with the leprechaun. Many times I've farmed with people using Lep and lix while I'm just using Lep and I get more locked in a half hour than they did. I've also had that same situation reversed and I get less locked than the person without a lix.

All 25% luck elixirs are the same. You're just picking out isolated instances out of the thousands happening.

Sometimes I'll find a crate while playing for 30 minutes with no reroll of any kind. During some 30 minute periods, I won't find a single crate. By the logic of picking out random isolated instances, it's better to hunt crates without the leprechaun amulet & luck elixirs.


Second, that's not how you market & be shady. You give a better sample out than the actual product so that you better hook a customer. Ever see a tv commercial for a sandwich? It sure looks like a glorious culinary masterpiece on tv and in pictures, but when you go get it at a restaurant, it looks sloppily assembled with the lettuce half out of it.

Not really, if you re rolled when you dropped an epic weapon, you will get locked. If you dropped green, u will get epic on re roll.
