Those vanities were each said to "never be returning."

I don't own any of the super old ones, but if I did...I sure would be quite angry to see them return & see sts go aginst their own word.

selling things on the premise of exclusivity only to later re-release it to the masses in the exact same style and name is not a good way to foster customer loyalty.

Yes, it does suck that you weren't around from the start to pay the "cheap" price of a few plat to get a vanity that nobody really wanted in the past.

They are smart to re-release exclusive vanities in alternative colours like they have done with the Jester outfit.

Also, btw, did you know that both Santas, Winters flurry, and Winters rage is the same vanity? The winter ones have extra stuff,and the Santas show more skin. #offtopic

The rare vanities give people something to strive for. Lets, for a second, take arcane items out of the picture. Lets be honest, unless you're hardcore merching or spend a great deal on plat, chances are pretty low you'll ever reach these levels of gold. But the vanities, somewhere between 1-10m, thats something people can shoot for.

Bringing them back as plat purchases will ruin that. These vanities are status symbols in game.

Nope terrible idea. Those old vanities are some of the only things in game that don't lose value and instead just increase. I paid alot for the arlor sets last year and they have doubled in price since then. Very few items do that on this game. Most decrease in value.
