30 bird in depth

would making a 35 bird be more effective?

depends how much you are willing to look into it. I cant help too much, dont play anymore.
There's an item at 35 croc tooth spine or something, 2/h; though it has terrible base damage, it increases skill damage a lot, though i have no clue how it compares to reaper.

Id suggest reaper bone cage and hallo, maybe iceberg for regen in there somewhere, not too sure tbh man, pm if you need help.
