Hi...Yes allies on occasion give it to you. Any of the 24 hour allies can give it...all random by chance. I think I have only ever gotten it on my low level toons though.

As far as I know, it's only available through the allies. You can't buy it with plat.

For some reason most of the 2 handed weapons you get from allies are not tradeable. Not sure why.

If u have the time to login for a few moments every 2, 3 hrs u can activate all 24 hr jobs for the allies ranging from Red Light District to Worlmen. Its the best chance to get the Ebon sword and as a bonus u make 12 - 15K (gold) every day.
If u want free bloodpacks activate the 2 hr jobs (5 energy) on Marshwood, Wilowbrook Parish and/or Worlmen.

Oh ok, i'm doing the Wannabe hunter (demand coolest item) in Morhaven district. I think I've about done it 10 times and still no luck maybe 1 legendary weapon i didn't need but i'll keep trying
