While firing the gun, it has a chance to proc gnarled roots, rooting the target and up to 5 nearby targets in place. The root effect reduces dodge of those enemies affected by 100% and armor by 25% for a short period of time. Magical gnarled roots are tenacious. When the effect wears off, there is the chance for them to spread to other nearby enemies.
Anyone gets a hand on the rifle of brutality? Any feed back?

I know it lacks critical but the process should make up for it should make up for it, return mana now STS change to adds 30 Armor stacks up to 5x. Also the new process adds armor 25% with no description of "4 sec" now from the original posting.

I have tested in PVP it roots the opponent as well but i have not tested further if the opponent can move or attack stationary.

I believe your screen shot of the mythic rifle info is an old version before they changed it. They replaced the mana regen with an armor buff.

The way it works now is each time you do a regular (or charged) attack, you automatically get a +30 armor buff --- this is not a chance proc, but happens 100% of the time. This armor buff can stack up to 5 times, giving you +150 armor.

True, but that being said it is like comparing Pavise to Bulwark and that has been done. Anyway, in my perspective the two different weapon types aren't something you would compare. It is like comparing a Plane to a Train :3 Which is faster? Well the plane flies and the train is on land. The staff has smaller range and the gun has a long range.

My only problem with this gun is now my pvp k/d is ruined because too many pros killed me with it.
