Mage Guidance: Leveling and Pets

I started a mage back in February but never really put a lot of time into it. I recently started working on him again and was wondering if there was any leveling guidance anyone can suggest. Below are my current stats (unbuffed).

My main 5 pets are: Colton, Orion, Crawly, Koko, and Ethyl. I have a Dovabear, Slag, and Gyrm egg on standby (not sure if any of those are good for mages. Except for slag which I will only open if I am using my mage as a second main).

If there are any cheapish pets (100k or less, 200k if a game changer) I "need" or any locations to level up that you could suggest, I would appreciate it.

you've got all the major legendary cheap pets I would use, except maybe also malison (although even I don't use him so often anymore). I am a huge fan of Orion and Ethyl. If you are a plat spender, I can also recommend Haze or Clyde. Oh I've also been using a shadowlurk lately and he really does have potential. Every time his AA is available you can get massive spikes of damage on mobs. Dont know current value of shadowlurk egg though.

My current rotation is: Slag, Orion, Shadowlurk. I have other very suitable pets, but I use these 3 the most currently.


Best way to level up is via Kraag Tomb lvl 4 (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...d-Kraag-Tomb-4) especially as a mage, I can usually solo it in 3-4 mins (from lvl36-41 at least)

Not a plat spender. I will work on kt4 though. I struggled to solo there last I tried.

Shadowlurk and KT4 is what I would do. Last I checked, Shadowlurk was in the 200k range.

KT4 is tricky to solo on mage, if you can get a rogue to join will go a little faster.

You look good for pet rotation, Orion is my top pink pet. Ethyl is nice in Shuyal.

You need a vixen if you plan pvp.

KT4 gets easier as you level up. I noticed a significant difference at around level 30. I find ethyl to be a fantastic pet to use in tombs. Pick up ribbit as well. When you drop a charged clock hit his AA and watch all the crits. He isn't good for elite maps but I love using him for normal runs.
