"Obsidian Bat" at Harg'kyths Domain

I just saw a weird thing. I was fighting Harg'kyth as usual.. stepped on the gate.. and in the last seconds before i left, i saw a bat with an orange(obsidian) fog/aura surrounding it.

Please, tell me that this was some kind of graphical bug or something.

Or was it Ry'thes carrying the axes?

OMG, if i missed it---> suicide xD

Anyone has seen this before?

Rythes has a purplish glow around him and foes not always drop the axrs.

Yes, I'm aware of that, and I'm always looking for (purple) Ry'thes before leaving.
I just wonder, if anyone has ever seen an "obsidian" version of him.
Maybe someone, who dropped the axes.

I dropped axes and hammer, in both cases didnt see an 'obsidian' version. Harg dropped hammer for me, well never saw it dropping, kinda fell into my arms (got suddenly the mesage : U found ..)
I did see the axes dropping, it was dropped by the miniboss Ry'thes (miniboss was purplish).

I remember when you told me you found that hammer lol both of us I had been Farming Harg day & night But didn't know you had found the Axes Too So Big Congrats on that ) I know the axes drop from the Bat with the purple ,But the hammer so that just goes Into your inventory if you get it, It does not drop ?? As for the Orange glow from a Bat I farm Harg every day or night when I'm on but I have not seen anything like that before maybe STS have changed something as they are so hard too find idk hopefully someone can tell us if it was just a Glitch... Well Back Too Harg I go and hopefully Find One of Them

Im not sure, only found relic hammer once and can remember that I only got the message, did not see it drop or me picking it up, u have to ask other players abt the hammer droppping or not. I saw a picture once here on forum abt a relic drop, but cant remember if it was a picture of the hammer or axes.

They all drop, had the same problem as I first started farming vanities and relics as they were just released. Took me a while to actually see the drop because everytime they dropped they went straight into my inventory. But after a few drops I managed to see how it looks like before picking it up. It's just about your position and the direction the drop jumps to

I never saw any Relic weapons drop at Harg'kyths Domain.. so i just wanted to make sure, i don't missed it by "accident" after killing Hargh and Ry'thes a thousand times. ^^
I believe now.. it was just a glitch. ~Phew~

Oh my..I'm a bit embarrassed about this thread.. it could be possible, that i just saw someone using "Curse".

the obsidian "hue" youre reffering too was probably because the bat was standing near the orange stone......
