76 will still be the "elite" cap requiring 100K xp, 77 will be I believe the " ultra" requiring and unknown amount, most likely a considerable amount more

To everyone saying one million XP you do realize many players don't buy elixirs and that means that if they never got daily blessings they would have to get one million kills or be around when that many kills occur which would take years! I know there are players like myself who support STG financially through plat usage and can bust out a million XP in about two weeks but still, let's be realistic.

This is right on. The new content needs to appeal to a wide audience, not just the hard core plat spenders. Most players confronted with 100k xp are already daunted, so even 200k would turn a most of them off, let alone a million. Also remember that it's not like you need to keep everyone busy on a single character. A lot of hard core players have multiple characters to raise, so any cap means a lot for them to do.

Deep in the Sandstone Caves, something peculiar is happening. A temporal rift has started to open, and soon the heroes of Alterra will be able to travel back in time to visit the "Ancient Caverns," before they were the Sandstone Caves. The power of the mysterious crystals is much stronger in the past. It emanates from the crystals and boosts the power and strength of the wandering cave golems, so be warned, you'll need to be at least level 72 before you brave these caves.

Along with this new area to explore, we will also be adding another level, boosting the cap to 77. Don't be deceived, though, this level isn't going to be easy to obtain. You'll need quite a lot of XP if you hope to get from 76-77, but the reward will be well worth it. Along with the elite vanity shield still available for reaching level 76, we'll be adding a new elite vanity pet for reaching 77, and you know what that means. Level capped players will be able to combine the level 76 Blacksmoke Mountain vanity shield with the new level 77 vanity to obtain a 2-set ring. Of course, if you have a previous level cap vanity from 56, 61, 66 or 71, you could obtain a 3-set ring.

thursday is good cuz they got 1 day to cover any immediate glitch then give them weekend for players to dish out plat and when they return monday they see some big $$$ made

Mobs will prob = 3 xp tho depending how they manage it.

^ ya xp scaling should werk welll, although its usually 1.5-2 xp with new campign mobs
its possible what they could do is make mobs have a lot more hp, but lower dmg, and give more exp
