Game hangs after crafting is completed

This happens quite a lot: a crafting is finished, you click Complete, and instead of the popup, you get nothing.
On iPad, it means you need to kill and restart the game. On Android, the Back button saves the day. I don't play Chrome much but it has never happened there so far.
This bug has been around for quite some time but never fixed, maybe because it's hard to reproduce.

I have, however, noticed that it happens much more when the slider "Battery Saver" in Game Options II is moved all the way to the right.
Maybe this can help the devs to figure out what is going on.

Yep seems to be the same issue, but to me, it happens anytime, moving or not.
