How to make money
Lots of people out there are trying to make money and are not able to, so this is my way of making some money. Before doing anything in this guide you are going to have a lot of patience. An easy way to make money is through merching. Basically what this means is buying items for a lower price and selling it at a higher price. This is going to work because people want money fast and they would do anything to get gold, like selling at significantly low prices.
This is how its gonna work:
1. If you have 0 - 50K Gold.
If you have gold in this range it is hard to merch, but the daily blessings have made things a lot easier. When you get a combo, try and farm valuable items. 1.25, 1.5 combo gives 25% luck and 3x combo gives 30%. Also wear Big/bigger luck if you have.
2. Farming places
Farming is basically doing a place over and over again until you get the item you want. Always farm for items not gold. I suggest being a high level or specific level farmer. For farming L60+ is recommended, but there are specific level farmers, e.g. lvl 21, lvl 56, lvl 61, lvl 66, lvl 71. You can stop levelling up at any level with the disable xp button. 56 pinks and 61 pinks especially cost a lot. Never farm odd level items like 58, 63, 68, 73, 53. Some popular places to farm are:
a) Nuris Funhouse for L56 and L60 Glyphs and Glyphic Blade Steels (Very Expensive)
b) Mount Fang Vampire Feast for L61 Pinks and Dragon Armor and Helm Vanity
c) Humania - South Pointe Village, Sandbar Lagoon and Devils Coast for L66 and L70 Pinks, Blue Diamond
d) Blacksmoke Mountain - Forgotten Forest for L71 and 75 Pinks, Red Diamond
e) Red Dragon Slayer for L76 Elites, Red Diamond
f) Shadow Caves 5 for Creepy doll shield and hate pinks.
If you are willing to spend plat:
a) Nuris mini dungeon
b) Epic Vampire Feast
c) BM Mountain Plat Dungeon
d) Humania Plat Dungeon (Monster Bash)
3. Getting 100K to merch
With the valuable pinks you have, go to Balefort Castle and got to the consignment shop. Find the prices of them and put them for sale on the cs for a slightly cheaper but no so cheap price. Say an item was for 200k, put it for 180 or 185k. But before that the key to merching is to sell as many items as fast as possible. You can do this by buying more auction slots. Buy some plat or wait for big plat payouts and spend 40 plat on getting 5 auction bays. That will give you 6 total. You can also sell by announcing in public like this:
S) Savage Scythe Set
or
S) L61 Orlok Shield
But people will usually offer a low price
4. Buying items
With your 100k to 200k you can now buy cheap sets and fairly expensive items. Find out what you can buy and WHICH ITEMS ARE POPULAR (Very Important). You want people to know that you are a merch. You can show you are a merch by saying:
B) Items, Sets, Vanities -- 30-50% Discount (Dont make it more than 50%)
or
Im your Merch. Buying items at discount.
Anything Really as long as people get to know you are a merch.
People will come to you and show you their items. You then have to look at the cs and find the price there and start with the lowest price possible. If the item/set is 200k start with 100k. With a fair amount of negotiation it would maximum reach 140K (anymore than that out of 200k dont buy, you will not make a profit).
5. Selling Items
There are two things you can do now.
Monitor the price of the item / set and sell when its at its peak, will usually take days but will give a higher profit
or
Sell it directly.
It all depends on how much you bought it for. An item is 200k in the cs and you bought from someone else for 100k, now you can sell it for 160 - 180k (no more). But now you bought it for 140k, Sell it for 180 to 190k. Buy for less, sell for less in cs. Thats the best way.People would definitely buy an item for 160k instead of 200. Thats why dont be greedy it might not sell.
6. Time for items on cs
Always set the time to be 23 hours. Its not too costly nor too less time to sell it. Unless its a crafting item then you can probably put it for 11 hours cuz the sell quickly.
7. Making more money
With 6 auction slots and the above methods, 150k can probably become 400k. Now you can buy higher priced items. You can just keep doing this until you get lots of money.
