Selling names?

I was just wondering if it's really ban - able to sell names? My football season is starting up soon and I'm not going to be able to be on much again for like 4 months, as practice is everyday twice a day and film on weekends. And I've had some kinda cool names for a while, such as Mysteryfox, Mysteryrhino, and Vorb that I never use so I was thinking about selling them. I've seen people doing this before. I don't use them, so yeah. If you're interested then here they are, never sold a name before :P.

That's why I asked, someone told me STS doesn't encourage it because so many people scam, but it's not against tos to influence someone to delete a name right when you want it using gold.

Anything that can't be sold via trade, isn't allowed to be sold. Same goes with selling plat etc.

The reason for that is u can't ever be certain if the trade is truly legit. Either side of the parties may be screwed over. It would just cause STG helluva lot more support tickets "pls I was scamd pls halp" if it was allowed so it's just easier to prohibit it.

Yeah as said above, however I see this happening lot ingame and getting offers for my names every time I hit balefort castle, but it is always unsecure do these deals.

It's aloud I THINK I have seen dev's say it's up to you but you will probably get scammed and it's your fault and they will do nothing about it.

You could give someone a name as a gift and they could give you gold as a gift that's not against the tos

There was a post by one of he devs just a while ago saying selling names is fine, just not to bug them if you end up like Wasp and your name gets stolen.

Really? I have literally 1.6k (lol) and get offers all the time for names I hardly use. If this is true then I may sell too and if I get scammed for it I really don't care, I don't use them.
