"Fridge"

So, how do you beat him? His crits have done 480 to me... so I need to always be ful... he attacks faster than a high squirrel, and has massive AOE.

Lvl 35 pally
Lvl 35 Pure dex bird

Which would be better?

Out of the 14 times I've tried to get him, only succeeded 2(net'd 39k profit). His freeze is really what gets me. I can run and drag him along, but as soon as he freezes, he only needs to hit me 2 more times (even with tank) and I'm dead. I speed isn't really helpful, because I go too far and he goes out of range... normal speed for me = normal speed for him. I was trying damage elixirs, and can get about 1/4 of his hp solo.

Oh, and I was trying to pot spam + tank, and wasn't able to live longer than 13 secs. 31/35 deaths from him. >

Any particular weaps you'd advise? I'm just using lvl 30 shiving ice auto c-bow on him. Some purp ice talon for groups.

You really need to be a higher level if you want to solo him. You're lacking the damage and stats that will help you. I usually just attack him and kite him back towards the entrance. He's usually dead within 15 seconds. The key is to kill him quickly so he doesn't use his freeze attack.

Bears can't solo him and birds can only do it so long as they don't get frozen. Once they do, it's pretty much over unless they can stay alive long enough to get unfrozen and/or kill him. Mages' heal unfreezes them so they just have to be quick enough to use it and spam pots.

the shield I'm using is only 16 armor, that enough? Doesn't seem so compared to the range. With the c-bow I can be out of range of his freeze... with the talon I get frozen immediately.

I never carry less than 500 of either pot, so that's not a prob.

The people I try to play with always end up going straight up, and trying to tank. Or they refuse to buy pots. Or some other silly thing...

Right now I'm just about even.. spent 41k on elixirs and pots for him. Got 39k from him. I try not to spend too much, I'd just like to figure out how to solo him. I just tried it again, used c-bow and double damage elixir. Nothing else. Got him to 1/4 hp by kiting, then ran out of room to run. I guess if I wasn't soloing I probably could've done it.

That's why I was wondering if Pally would be better... just use spells to attack and I'd be able to get out of those situations..

I've never tried it as a pally. You can't tank him because he deals too much damage. Elixirs are a waste to be honest since he rarely drops anything to make up the cost. I'd use a staff for the extra damage if you're using the mage and forget the shield.

Personally, I'd just let the other guys attack and distract him while you get your attacks in. Once he drops them, you can continue kiting him.

EDIT: I'll also add that the green ice items can drop from the blue ice demons in the room with him. I got my staff from the one by the entrance.

I got two drops... got 22k for one and then 17k for the other. I'd just love to be able to solo...

WOAH CHRIS! Way to double post like a pro! Had to post here to make sure you didn't make the post above a double ^ and you can't solo fridge? Wow even my lvl 61 bird can almost 1 hit him you must be newb... Try using a higher level toon might help a bit... Yw babe <3333
