Endgame top players

I don't deserve to be on the OP's list. I'll be the first to admit I'm just an average rogue with top-end gear. Having gotten this out of the way...

Many people forget in spite of the apparently individual nature of killseeking in PvP that it has been and still continues to be a teamsport. No rogue no matter how good can charge into a half-decent group of 5 players with no form of shield and make it out alive. There's always a tank protecting, a mage supporting. Even a rogue who gives up an attack skill to place a veil on the floor to boost his teammates should be appreciated. You play the game with your friends- people you can depend on to back you up and back you up ably in a tight situation. As a rogue I appreiciate a good team supporting me so I can go for the kill knowing my team has my back. For me those are my best players, not necessarily the players on other people's lists.

Just hope too that the people who have gone to war with each other in game will have respect for each other's skill. Your legends were made on each other's backs through the endless brutal clashes. Why quibble about one spot in a ranking? Being on a list and not being on a list? Threads like this have never met an easy end. Thanks Aze for being the gentleman and stepping back from perpetuating an endless argument.

One of my all-time personal favourite rogue is Hyperkaz (Jalvy).

How this guy owned in clashes with his pet Valkin has always blew my mind.
Most underrated rogue in my opinion.

It's a pity he does not play anymore these days :/

Hey noobs.

Hope they have fixed some of the issues in the game, doubtful but I hope so. Here's my lists

Tanks:

Hazard - experienced, tactical and intelligent. Our wabbit.
Bully - arguably the best tank in game. There is no denying it.
Anarchy - chilled, calm and collected, I never saw him lose his temper or trash in my presence.
Danmei - a surprisingly good natured gm and tank. he may roll with the drama but often tried to avoid it.
Shadi - one of my mentors and a truly awesome tank.
Crowsfoot - cos he's just insanely clever.

Rogues:

Aze - pve king and pvp rage machine.
Preddy - best pvp rogue in game without a doubt. My bro, my 2's partner, our Arab.
Ruthien - wise, and a great all round player. His loyalty and patience is admirable.
Igras - first rogue I came accross in pvp that made me soil myself lol. Never speaks, always polite.
Parthy - when he's not dc or crashing cars he is arguably the most intelligent rogue in game.
Ctf - the most arrogant *^%# in game but u can't deny his skill. Even if he did pet spam more than any player in the game.

Mages:

Purseai - underdog and very patient.
Geez - the toughest Mage I came accross in clashes. Always enjoyable and challenging.
Faith - my mirror image. Tourney winner and skilled.
Arry - IMO best all round Mage in game. 1v1 or 4v4 he is boss.
Insta - 1v1 pro.
Lia/spell - good on both classes, kamikaze on both classes...


These are the ones that always stuck out. I can name many others but IMO these are those worthy of a mention.

Who knows maybe one day we will return and play again...... Stranger things have happened.

Sometimes, I just run around in Pvp playing with one hand charging aimed shot.

Few people of the top ranked at end game have actual skill, many are just top gear with random use of abilities. Any Rogue can kill with a nigh 50% crit stat, charged aim-dash

That said some of the people I saw who were actually good regardless of gear were:

Perfect demonstration of how these lists are personal and most of the time wrong.

Personally i don't think i deserve to be on a official best war list. Not that i sucked but you need top gear just to enter imo.

They didnt beat me..but without doubts the best mages i fought.

Out of the list i add Freelancer. IMO geared to teeth he can easily farm most of the "top player" some listed here.

Note: This players are not all friends or guildies, most of them i gladly dislike them but they are the ones that:

#1 could kill me with ease.
#2 had a impact on me cause of their knowledge and skills.

I tried many people 1vs1this season..i entered ctf just for that cause imo in clashes you learn nothing. My list contain only the players that after i fought i believed even if i had a top gear they would still kill me.


Let me also add if geared to teeth ANYONE can be a top player all you need to do is pvp all day and find someone that is willing to teach you what to do and when to do it.

Badboy, Safiras and in part Zeus did that for me and till date i still thank them for this. Especially Badino.

I will try to be an UNBIAS as I can in my lists, and I will rank people based on skills rather than gear as best as I can based on (from that I've seen) as their ability to skillfully clash and 1v1. My reviews are based on S6 end gamers only, and aren't in any particular order.

Rogues:
CTF - only played with him a few times before he got a ring, but as cocky as he is, he is legit
Predator - hasn't been that active, but i've seen him in varying situations (TDM, CTF) and he knows how to avoid being hit so well, and to strike at the perfect time. One of the most skilled rogues I've ever seen, and he makes it look so easy. Definitely someone I would've loved to pvp with more before he went inactive in end game.
Lia - a pleasure to clash with, and always goes right for the dps and for the kill.
Age - even before he had a samael, this guy would always get as many kills as maxed geared rogues in clashes. Quite underrated, and someone to look out for now that he has sam/mythic bow.
Zeus - very aware of the little details (heals, feebles, enemy rogues in clashes), always willing to give pointers, and very legit at clashing and 1v1.
Xgra - great clasher

Tanks:
Zephyruh/Night - very aware that the point of a tank in a ctf match is NOT to get kills, but rather to feeble enemy rogues, and protect your own rogues as best as you can.
Jxmaa/Hazard - beast of a tank
Bully - quite a good clashing tank, although only fought against him a few times.
Anarchy - one of the best clashing tanks I have ever seen. He finds his rogue target, and sticks on them like his life depends on it. (feeblemaster)
Ravagerx - I've never understood how this guy lives for so long in pvp against maxed rogues nuking him, but he always manages to do so using only a whim.

Mages:
I'm going to forgo this b/c I don't have enough knowledge on mages.

Sorry if I missed anyone, but these are the people who I have personally pvped with or against that have made an impression on me.

One thing to note however is that all of the players I've listed are generally fully geared with at least a Samael. In order to really claim that you're a top rogue/mage/tank have the courage to face someone with identical gear. I think there's a huge sense of "oh im better than you" which derives from having an arcane pet that your opponent doesnt have, or having an arcane ring, or mythic bow that your enemy may not. I personally use an identical weapon/pet to the person I'm fighting. For example, if im doing a 1v1 against a tank using magmatic I'll use a legendary bow. I'll also often not use my Samael vs a player that doesn't have the fortune of having one, and instead opt for Malison, or ripmaw.

I'm just pointing out that skill and gear are completely different things, and as we continue to increase level caps, people continually mistake one for the other.
