23 hr Daily Blessing

Hello

(Sorry If this was already discuused - I searched for such a topic with 0 results)

Ever since we have these daily blessings, there is something what makes me mad about it. On monday, I start my clock in some early afternoon hour - good time to visit PL after lunch. Either due to myself being few minutes late or due to some mess in ingame time, my blessing time shifts forward every following day. I'm pretty sure you all know that. Step by step, every following day I get my blessings later and later and - I'm "forced" (

) to stay up till deep night hours. There alsways comes the point (usually around 1-2 AM) I simply can't hold myself up so I miss my blessings and get them revoked next morning.

I know that it's perhaps not some world top problem

But I realized I'm doing this for ages already. And I'm curious as if I'm the only one who gets bothered by this.

There might be 2 possible solutions.

1. Make Daily Blessing last 23 hours - One day, I'm a bit behind so I'll burry up the other day. Cheers

2. Extend the accepted delay to 8-9 hours - Let the blessings survive overnight

To sleep <6 hours voluntarily? Awwww

Well of course, we have some more urgent things to discuss and solve and afterall it's no disaster to miss blessings time to time. Nevertheless, it drove me crazy enought times so I decided to write it down

ya sometimes i activate a blessing f.e. at midnight, but next day i wont stay up until midnight, and so ill losse it...

They'd already extended blessing claim time to 6 hours to help people keep their blessings around and not have them reset, and it really helped.

Of course they had. And it's appreciated. But that helped in cases you couldn't login in the certain hour. But regarding the second option I suggested, 6 hours is pretty tough time for not loosing it overnight. I did it few times too. I got with my blessing time up to 1 AM and the other day I forced myself to wake up in 6:30 to receive it. But c'mon, getting up in 6:30 is not for meh

I always thought that it should reset at a certain time like deal of the day, and you automatically get it for logging in on that day

Could work but like broad said ive had to stay up untill 2-4 am just to get my bless then sleep or go to bed and hopefully wake up before the 6 hour claim limit expires.

Isnt this kinda designed for people who play PL at around 1-6am? Lol.

I agree that there should be some room to move the pickup time "backwards" as the OP suggested. Maybe the blessings can still last 24 hours, but you have the option of picking them up starting with 1 hour remaining. That way, blessings that "slipped" forward can be worked backwards to a better time for the player if they choose to. (Of course, the would mean STS would also have to fix the bug where getting the same elixir while old one is still running causes new to be lost. But that long-standing bug needs to be fixed anyway.)

Failing this, I agree at making the pickup window greater than 6 hours. Most people sleep longer than that, and it's established science that getting that little sleep is bad for your health. So STS, make us all a little healthier and extend the pickup window to at least 8 hours!

...which is off topic request here. This thread is just about time scheduling of blessing, not about rewards. Sure you don't want 1.25 - nobody does. As well as nobody likes to get his 1000th antenas no on day 5. But I didn't mean to discus this here. Please start a new thread about it.
