Ah yes we posted two threads last week asking where the ecto vials have gone. Sure enough .... One finally popped last night. This is the only one I personally have seen since the archon ring bug fix. This is a very very rare drop indeed. Anyways, here to confirm that yep they still there and yep super lucky if you get one. Not sure now people will get their hands on 15 once the current supply diminishes. This one dropped in magma in that spot where there is also chance of archon down the last hall before you run. It was not a reroll.

There is something wrong when the chance of looting a Fossil seems far greater than the chance of looting 15 Vials.

So, I have managed to loot two Archon's, a bunch of Magma items, a few eggs, and a handful of Locked Crates, but no Vials? Interesting indeed....

There's a big difference between rare and practically non existent... keep the value up but with all demand and no supply the value is indeterminate.

Vial is so rare that people make threads when they get one.
No.the drop rate is perfect.maybe In a year or 2 we get double odds on vials

Remi let us know the drop rate nerf was indeed an issue, it should be fixed next week. Look for it in the notes when update comes.

Idk for you,but loot in Tindirin is pretty rare now...
I bought 20 lixes from Kross,none of them gave me pink loot and i ran just Tindirin.
Hard to believe,but it's that lol

The value of the pet will only be worth so much. So if the vials are worth very little, then the fossil will be worth a ton. Now that the vials are getting rare, the fossil will drop in price and the vials will be worth more. I personally prefer it that way. If a Nekro egg is worth 50m, and each vial is worth 2m, then maybe the fossil is worth 20m. So 15 x 2m = 30m + 20m for the fossil, and that is your 50m.

I like it this way. Let us have a chance to farm for pricey items like this. It's what everyone has always asked for. Don't complain! We don't want these to flood the market and become worthless. Remember there are only so many fossils that get looted. So demand for vials will never be that high. Until we see a day where people with fossils are unable to find enough vials to craft a Nekro egg, then the balance is just fine!

It sounds like a mistake was made Ener, I don't think the current drop rate was the intention. Sounds like they will still be rare but a little less so.
