Default Is there something with rogue crits...?

I was just monkeying around in pvp with a friend earlier. When everyone else leaves the room, we like to try to snipe each other only charging aim (but not actually killing). My first crit aim hits 900, which is laughably low. I charge aim again and it hits 2250..what on earth? Last time I checked, 10% of 900 is 90, not like 1k+. Even with the 10% increase (only had 1 stack) there's no reason why it should hit that hard. Is there some glitch where the 10% stacks with the 250% incorrectly?

    Maybe U didn't see your Crit, 900 x %250 Crit = 2250, also It didn't stack ...

900-950 on the first, then the 10% damage boost kicks in which in the algorithmic equation comes before the 250x multiplier which is why your first aimed always hits harder than the first - especially if it crits.

He means the second hits harder than the first because the 10% dmg boost gets factored in before the 250x multiplier. And I may be mistaken but I believe they stack. Same with the armor reduction upgrade

According to my calculations when factoring the 250% damage factoring is correct along with the 10%.
Since the first crit is always low it is safe to assume that ur aim skill damage was in 700 range. Since you critted in first shot your next skill damage is 770(10% extra). Also you critted so 250% extra more. That is equal to 2695. So I think it all makes sense

I did. Do me a favor and remove the 10% upgrade and then try using your aimed shot. Let me know how it goes!

You would be surprised how dedicated our player base is. The more people research and analyze these values, we will benefit by learning what skills are the best, where to allocate stat points, and what pets to use.

Without the players constantly analyzing the game, we would still think DMG and Armor passives stack with pet and elixirs, we would still think that the 15‰ added damage upgrade to Nox adds +15% (instead of -15%) and we would still think that extended duration upgrade on Razor shouldn't cancel out the Spinning Freedom upgrade.

So, thank those people who do math for this stuff. Without them, imagine what we would think we know.

as far as i know, the '+10% damage' upgrade on AS is reflected directly to the damage shown in the skill description

so assuming this one correct, it shouldn't have any stacking effect, because it only increase base damage of the skill (even though with vague upgrade description)

also, assuming this only increase base skill damage, i'm guessing that charging AS is what make it different, probably there is a bonus of charging AS, like 20% chance to do double damage, and this doubled damage will stack with 250% damage on critical

as far as i know, critical does 150% of any damage, so the 250% critical bonus is basically do a 100% more than normal critical, cmiiw
