Been farming shotgun off dark archer for awhile now with no luck....is there a better method to farming this besides archer runs or is this the best option...ty in advance

Ive only ever got 2 shotguns from him and once it took me 6 runs and another time it took me nearly all day of solid runs and yes I think it's the best way to farm shotgun

No, the Archer is the fastest most efficient way to do this. You are talking about, what, a 45-60 second run to a boss that drops a very rare item? I wouldn't complain too much.
