Just proving a point [Victory Lap solo]

I decided to make a bad-quality video to prove my point that Victory Lap is easily soloable.

[I'll add my Mage Overlord attempt later, I died, leaving OL with 10% HP.]

PS: I know the Bird vs Keeper is the Crush The Keeper map, I didn't feel like killing Des/clearing the entire VL Keeper Portal, they're the same strength.

I agree with you the hardest part would be OL and all you need is lots of pots. Also keeper will take a very long time.

I might consider switching to Bird for OL, not sure yet.

Bear would seem the best bet for OL. Damage and tank pot and a few health and mana pots. I have been in groups when only a tank and me killed him. Didn't bother reviving people at the end because they just got 1 hit killed.

The only problem with bear is trying to knock off his shields with the Lorekeepers stunning you. :/

I'll try all 3 again, see which one I have success with.

I was in a group, and the entire party wiped within about 20 seconds of Overlord, everyone left, leaving me on bird to die.

I ended up killing it without any real problems, but it was at about 70% when they left.

Thanks for posting this. It was fun to watch. It also helped me realize that I try to get way too close when I'm trying to solo. It works sometimes but other times I get crunched. Thanks

eta: I was getting close because I wasn't sure if nightmare and weakness would work if I wasn't too close...

Refried.... Tell me who didn't believe you! I'll beat em up for ya! I solo'd Captive Audience for $&#&*'s and giggles with no elixirs. That can be considered just as hard as VL because lack of lorekeepers is made up by massive clumped groups of yellow and blue aliens. So why not VL? I think we all know that boss soloing is quite easy and proven many times before, just takes a long time. We also got new gears now... I did this when Cosmos was best tippy top gears.

No lie, those solos on my mage were easily faster than 80% of my groups. xD

I just finished OL, on Bird. Was a challenge, and a ton of fun.

I tried Keeper, but I didn't feel like killing everything, so I tried rushing-didn't work out well.

I'll do Keeper later tonight when I have the time to kill everything.

Yeah, I mean, this isn't my first solo. I use to solo King when I only had bear at 50 with Rageborn Plate, and Plasma Axe xD

I was in a VL group a few nights ago, they all died to Des, I held it, died to Gurg, I held it, Died to King, I held it. So I was like "Dude, I solo this, just focus". They went on to say I lie, etc.

They'll see this.

By the way I'm doing Overlord as we speak.

lol I perfer to solo sometimes... Cuz when you solo, your in charge of what happens. In teams your not in charge no matter what you do. Say the person decides to start stomping the hell out of him right on top of you when your debuffed/no mana shield then say sorry when it pwns you. Or worse yet, stomps out room and causes him to heal. Then you die while screaming at him for being dumb and blasting out the room.

Overlord is easier to solo if you pull the lorekeepers individually and kill them before you aggro him. But you have to pull by running up to them close enough for them to notice then run back, because if you just shoot at them you would pull all three.

Nah, it's droid to PC, I used a VPN server, can't switch orientation, reasearching some things that'll make the quality much easier.

Kujen, as the video shows, overlord aggros WITH Lorekeeps. As soon as they attack, Overlord does. Even if you're in the far corner. I've tried SEVERAL times to pull them without any success, you just have to ignore them.

Well I haven't done it in a long time, but that's how they used to be. You'd just slowly inch up close enough to one til he notices you and then run back, without shooting. Maybe they've changed how they react since then?

Has to be, because I recall being able to pull them as well.

They aren't too much of a bother, though.

On Bear they would be a big problem, but with a Ranged attack, they're easy to ignore.
