How sts can fix the platinum offers
Alright, so I don't spend any money in AL cuz I'm a super cheap dude, I am however a big fan of free offers and how much platinum they used to give, and like many people, was sad too see sts get rid of it. So now that there is no way for someone to earn legit platinum without opening up their credit cards, many people have gone to other players to trade real world money for gold/plat, which almost always ends up being a scam. So while sts needs to fix their free platinum, I have a few ideas that would be pretty nice, none corruptible ways for players such as myself to earn platinum, because the little bit of platinum I have left in my accts is worth more then a chance at a arcane in a lock.
#1 Videos: Many many other games have this as a way to earn in game currency, and sys could do this too, you watch 1 video from a advertiser, you earn 2 shards, you collect 10 shards, you can go to a NPC in a town and exchange it for 2 platinum. You can only do this a maximum of 3 times a day on 1 acct.
#2 referrals: lots of games have this as a way to increase popularity of their game, you type in the referal code of someone that referred you, you get a gift, they get a gift. Now many people would probably say that this would be taken advantage of, well the solution of that would be, the person that referred someone only gets the prize if they LV cap, or make a in-game purchase, thus verifying they are a legit player. It could also be that not only new players would get this, it would be a /referalcode "name" that someone puts in that gives the gift. So lets say someone showed me AL 2 years ago, they still play, I still play, and I am LV cap, I put in /referalcode bobthekiller
Then they receive a lets say 10 platinum, I get 10 platinum.
#3 Sts already does this for the first few lv's you lv up, how about 2 or 3 free platinum for every lv you gain, all the way to lv cap, that would be quite a bit of platinum that new players and old players would love to have.

Just so you guys know we are working diligently on getting another source of free offers in for you. It is in testing now and will be in as soon as possible so that you can get plat again without spending a dime. We don't actually build out custom systems for free plat, but use a third party (like NativeX) who sets up the parameters for how to get free platinum.
