Chat tab for private messages

The chatbox moves too fast in town with all the spamming. Sometimes i miss messages if more than one person sends me a PM.

I'd like if there was a little tab button you could press to switch between the regular box and another box specifically for PMs. Also, maybe this box could keep messages a little longer than the regular one and allow you to scroll up and down.

In the future you could add options to set up what you want to go to specific tabs. Like when guilds are implemented, you could have a tab for guild chat. Right now though I'd really like one specifically for PMs. I remember in EQ I had different chat windows set up, one for general chat, one for guild chat, one for private messages. Because of the limited screen space here, they should just be tabs to switch between. But it would be very helpful!

If you click the custom chat button, you can scroll up/down through the chat history.

I know of the button that let's you expand the chat box up to about 9 lines, if that's what you meant?
But i want to go back further when things are moving fast, is there another option I've missed?

When you tap the chat button (open the keyboard), the chatbox expands to full size and arrows appear that allow you to scroll back through chat history since you logged on.

I think instead of that it would be nicer if we could get 'mail' for pms that we can read anytime and can be sent to us when were offline.

no not at all... click on any player first then chat... and there should be a scroll bar in the chat window
