Well, rift is still slightly better, but either one will satisfy your lv50 needs just fine.

Tho instead of the hax, use a shock lance or limbchopper.

-.- I think hate drops more rarely now than rift.
Also, you must clear VL to get a chance to open a portal to the elite campaign shadow caves. They drop in there.
If you are willing to spend a fortune in pots, go ahead and try.

Hate armor might be best to buy at the moment... cuz the 1.7 patch which increases the lvl cap to 55 is soon coming out and u also want lvl 55 gear right? Hate armor cheaper u know...

With the stats of the Hate set changed is it better to buy?.. Also I find its costlier than rift now. Or just buy Rift as it is cheaper and save for fury?.. I am looking to tank.

I do sometimes feel like I am the only who thinks the hate set is the best all-around gear in the game for warriors. Good armor, damage (with proc), hit chance, and regen.

Anyone want to explain to me why most people seem to prefer rift? Prior to the hate set bonus enhancements I could see why, but now not so much.

I think the consensus is that Hate is better than Rift now, but a lot of people probably just use Rift because it's cheaper and still pretty good, particularly if they are only using it until they reach 55.

I'm lvl 53 and still use rift because after comparing stats of both i realized hate has lots of armor and higher regen than rift, but rift does more straight up damage and has more health with only one less regen of health and mana so I went with rift Plus i sold hate for a good bit of cash.

i plan on doing sc runs when 50 after I save up to buy last piece of rift and void both armors and cost alot. Farm runs for sc wave of the future. Now......back to grinding lvs

I wouldnt agree that Hate armor is the best anymore. for dps i have 218 (ish)STR and 115 (ish) DEX with Full Rooter 55 (orange) gear. That gives me about 43% crit and 200dps. for tanking I use orange plungers? or whatever that stupid set is called. It puts me at about 180 armor and about 30 dodge and 710 hp.

For me that seems a pretty damn good alt to Hate esp since you are looking at like 50k max for both sets.
