KALIZZA'S PRE-HALLOWEEN BASH!
As is typical with end-of-season doldrums, elite runs have kind of faded away, activity levels are down, and to be honest, it just seems like we are all kind of waiting around for the upcoming Halloween event. Sharpen your blades, polish up your bulwarks and relearn those spells, because we are going to inject a little bit of excitement and friendly competition into the game leading up to the Halloween event!
The Challenge
Me (Kalizzaa) and my friends at <Elite Runners> challenge all other guilds to a friendly, timed competition. Winning guild will be determined based upon total, pure, run time spread across five different maps in elite Shuyal and Tindirin. There are no gear/pet limitations; however, all runs must include a Warrior, and must be completed pure. Enhanced runs, and runs without a Warrior will be discarded.
Guilds, feel free to mix and match your players, because only the best time from each map will be used for the total guild time. From my previous contests, I learned that it is difficult to coordinate schedules of your player base from around the world, so the pre-named team restrictions are gone. The intent here is to encourage elite runs, rekindle guild activity, score some valuable loot, perhaps win some prizes, and most importantly, win bragging rights for your guild (that is the most important thing, right?).

The Rules
- Submit screenshots of completed runs in this thread here. The timer must be visible (do not crop/blur sections of your images). Also, the chat box must be visible (with the loot visible), the boss must be visibly dead on screen, or the loot visible on screen. Screenshots that do not have these two completion elements will be discarded.
- All submitted entries must have at least one Warrior in the party
- All submitted entries must be pure runs (no elixirs [reroll is acceptable though], no revives)
- All participating members must be visible in the screenshot and must be wearing your guild tag
- Three member parties are acceptable if the Warrior requirement is met.
- Only guilds that have at least one entry for all five maps will be considered for the prize pool.
NOTE: I have come to realize that, since this is a pure run, if you die at the boss, it will be tough to get back to your party and still have the loot visible, or visible in the chat box. With that in mind, I will take any of your screen shots in good faith; regardless of whether the loot is visible in chat or not. I know some of you are kind of chatty or are in chatty guilds, so post what you've got in good faith, and I will accept them in good faith. I would still like to see the chat box open at least though.
There are no restrictions on gear, players, or party makeup (other than the requirement for a Warrior). Please be mindful that the intention of this contest is to get people back to running elites. We do not want to exclude people from running, the goal here is to get people excited about running, increase guild activity and bring some folks out of hibernation, even if it is only for one week.
The Maps
- Shuyal - Forest Breach: Ferrix
- Shuyal - Forest of Shades: Overgrowth
- Tindirin - The Wilds: Drake
- Tindirin - Jagged Trail: Tribal Abomination
- Tindirin - Caves of Tarewa: Arachna
I chose these maps because they drop elite Legendary weapons, which currently hold the best value among elite loot. Also, these are probably the most popular farming maps at this point, so runners should be very familiar with the map and the strategies for all of them.
Again, keep in mind that all of these maps must be completed pure, and must have at least one Warrior in the party.
The Prizes
The fastest guild time for each map will be totaled and used for consideration. Simply having the fastest time in one map will not win your guild any prizes if you stumble in all other maps. We are looking for exceptional, consistent runs across a bunch of different environments.
The 7 million prize pool will be awarded to each guild as follows:
1st Place Guild: 3,000,000 Gold
2nd Place Guild: 2,000,000 Gold
3rd Place Guild: 1,000,000 Gold
Guild with most entries: 1,000,000 Gold
Prizes will be awarded to the guild master for distribution. The guild master can use these proceeds to fund their own guild contest/giveaway, or can distribute the winnings in whatever way he/she sees fit.
