Android Market Problem

I attempt to download 1.7 from the market. Install, ok to accept permissions, your item will be downloaded. Notification pops up for 2 secs or so and then disappears without downloading.

Nothing happens. I have tried many times with no luck.

Help anyone?

Are you sure you have enough space? 1.7 is a little larger than 1.6.

it shows pocket legends in my apps but instead of saying installed it says free.

Gigs would be on the SD card. The Market app downloads to the internal memory first, so you have to have enough space there.

I have this issue too (also on captivate). Thank god I have my iPod anyway I'll try the other installation option, but if I go that route will I still be able to update in the future through the android market?

I can also confirm that this issue is also present on the Galaxy Tab, which unlike other android devices, does not have an internal space issue from the moment it was released

First of all Im french, So excuse me for my english please ^^
I also cannot dl 1.7 i have plenty of space in my sd card and in my internal memory, when i click on dl, accept permissions, notifications pops downloading appears then disappears within 2 sec and pl is not downloaded.

This is for a Samsung captivate but the procedure is the same for my Viewsonic G-Tablet (rooted and flashed with TnT). I had to sideload PL from some obscure reason. My HTC phone, on the other hand, worked like a charm!

I have same phone a galaxy s captivate and when i tried my only last shot at it, it was trying to get off website and captivate does not allow downloading of non market apps and no way to change security setting of that sort. On Samsung captivate. Please fix market.
