    Default Guild Bann List

Yeah i would like to have an Guild bann list.
    Easy to explain why.
When an Guild gets bigger not all new Rec's know who they dont have to invite.

    Example in our Guild:
There was a member that got kicked due begging/scamming.
1 month later he rejoint due an inv of an new Rec.
Guess what happend! He scammed again.
Saw his name in the log an was really angry that that "person" had a new chance for such stupid.... things.
A normal list is hard to update and to inform everyone everytime.

    Easy Solution:
Implent a List for Guild bann . Like the Ignorelist.
Maybe only the Master should be able to edit that list.
If someone is on the list no one is able to invite him in guild.

    What you think?2

Many guilds have private forums, sts forum groups etc to handle guild management business such as this. Pheonix has been maintaining a list for over a year and a half with names and reasons for the removal etc. - although we have a low turnover rate so most are remembered in any case.

However, depending on the type of people in your guild /recruitment team, getting them to pay attention to that when looking at a potential member can be a pain in the bahookie. It took me a very long time to get a group of recruiters who will pay attention, and still things get overlooked occasionally. We don't record everything, but certain things like leechers, scammers, pvp drama trash talkers etc are always noted to prevent repeated episodes.

Making a list of just booted people like the guild log would be ok and doable, but would not give reasons. Recording the reasons for booting is as important as the names themselves, since the people almost always come back a month later and try to convince you they got booted for no reason, never got booted, never did anything wrong etc. Saves hassle when it's recorded and your guild has a strong team with good memories to back it up.

Or there is a solution with this system only, whenever you promote someone to recruiter, just tell that guy to see the guild log, and those who are "kicked" by someone should not be invited done! Yes log can be too big if guild is too big .

    Nice Art

If there was just a search function in the guild log we could just look up if a potential invite has a history or not without having to read through the endless log. This wouldn't record reasons but at least you would know in seconds if the toon had been booted previously.

With the number of players and the number of guilds, imagine how much additional traffic that would add to the database. If you think we have lag now.....

I would like a ignore/ban list for a guild. I would prefer gm AND officers can edit the ban list as they both can kick people from guild. Officers and gm are considered guild management.

Only a few players visit forums (private or this public).

Have a list. It might be easy with 300 members, but in some guilds with 1,000+, it's virtually impossible

Well there is a way to solve this, have smaller guilds with 50-150 people who are always active and helpful. Lets be honest what is the point in have 1000 people in a guild when around 10% of them are active and most just leave and are forgotten.
