Service Stabilization Update 11/26/14

Hey folks,

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Futumsh, null_void, Allotabit, Samhayne, and several others, we think we have a handle on the DCs. Without getting too technical ('cause I am not very technical) it had to do with the network layer and the amount of data going back and forth between client and server. We put some things in place that should prevent the wide-spread DCs, and we have a list of other items to work through to decrease the traffic even further, so hopefully you will see service getting better and better.

For now, let us know here... how is the game playing? Better than before? Are you mages back to dropping clocks?

Again, we are very sorry for the interruption of service. It's quality will remain our top priority. Thanks for the patience and invaluable help you folks provided us!

Thanks! So far DC issues were greatly reduced. However, ping spike still persist. From green ping then suddenly going to red ping in a matter of few seconds.

Well after the two server maintenance we had still I see players DC's in our party.

And me myself had experienced like 6 dc's after the first maintenance but after the second one they decreased a bit only 2 times.( in a hour)
There's a bit improvement but not completely.

We are with you STS...hope everything get's fixed soon.

Cool, we still have areas of optimization planned, but we don't want to introduce anything today that may affect your gameplay over the long weekend. So please let us know how it is going, and if you still are experiencing DC's, give us specific info about when/ where if possible.

I don't have dc too often but now I have several frozen flashes or lag when playing but they last for just 2 or 3 seconds. It really annoys me because I can't play smoothly. This didn't happened before.

Same as Luciano. Frequency of freezing varies from every few min to every few sec.

DC decreased a lot for me but its still there.
I noticed i dont dc anymore during heavy gameplay but randomly when i change map or login.


If sts can do anything for the ping now they dealing serious blows on the network that would be nice too.

I got dc'd 3 times today, it wasn't very frequent don't worry but everytime i checked my internet and saw that my conection was fine, also sometimes when i changed maps or simplly loged in, the loading screen took forever( i waited more then 5 minutes) so i had to restart app. And loading the app took me 4 extra minutes the first time today, i opened another tab and once again saw my internet was at perfect speed.But the next times i opened the app it was like usual. Thats all the details i can give ^^

but when i logout char and i try to open my another email , it cant be normally like always , " maintenece pls visit forum bla bla bla bla " pls fix it thx
