Worth Reporting?

So I'm just wondering what people generally think about in game etiquette.

My warrior just hit 25 so I jumped into lost expedition - perhaps a bit early and I was finding it difficult to stay alive and at the same time keep aggro off the rest of the team.

Apparently I wasn't good enough.



I don't care about some (probable) 12 year old swearing at me - But I want this game to progress and its going to get a bad rep with this sort of attitude.

So I'm asking people to chill out. Kids play this game, stop getting so angry.


Also what are your thoughts? Is this acceptable?
Again - I am NOT deeply offended by this or anything, it was just so random and uncalled for.
I normally let this sorta thing slide - should I?

Its not your fault he's dieing. Also I would guess the fact you pointed out he's dieing was the issue, not him upset you didnt pull the aggro.

Either way, no biggie. Turn on filter if dumb people bother you

Lol My guess is that the guy is one of those people that like to swear on games because you cant really stop them from doing it? XD or hes just one of them kids that have been watching too much adult shows. But seriously, HAHAHA NOOOOB!!!!! (To soulshard i mean) just find him in PvP and kill the poop out of him/her.XD

It's up to you whether you want to report them or not. Reporting would reinforce what the devs are trying to make out of the game (since its against their rules to talk like that).

Thats a hard call. I want to be able to curse all i like in my dungeons. Mind you i don't do so in a mean way and am not trying to be disrespectful, but then it because a relative argument as to what is mean and whats not when you consider banning someone. i don't like cursing in town though. Of course certain comments, like particularly racist comments, should not be allowed.
There is a chat filter for a reason, but there are plenty of ways to cross the line. I dont think this screen shot shows anyone "crossing the line."

If you want to play in a PW protected game with your buds then feel free to curse up a blue storm. If you are in game with folks you don't know the expectation is that you and they behave themselves. There are kids that play this game, not everyone enjoys being cursed out, and we are going to keep it as clean as we can.

Thats an excellent point about kids playing the game. The chat filter can be turned off by a youngling.

I'm assuming though that you cant just say anything you like in a passworded game though. In theory this would be ok, but since anyone can bypass a password by joining through the friend list, even if that person is friends with someone who isn't the creator, seems like you still end up with strangers in passworded games.

The majority of flamers are actually kids. Most adults wouldn't stoop to that level.
