That would be something, at least.

So if you get a chest every 2 days and there is something decent in 4% (4/100) of the chests, which would be (for arguement's sake) 1 in every 25 chests.

So, let's see.... it would take approximately 2 months (50 days) of 20 runs every day to get a single dark armor or helm - if you were very lucky. At 15 minutes/run average (for some it would take much longer) that is 4 hours of tomb runs every day.

Multiply this figure by 4 because you arguably are only finding value in 1 type of armor and helm per class perhaps 2. You looking Potency for Rogue, Assault for mage and idk anything about tanks except that I am an OP one in CTF GF

No offense, but of course you don't want the chest rate increased, since you're like the only one who can afford to buy them all. It's all very well to enjoy a monopoly, but it's not condusive to a good game overall.


If we look at the drop rates of chests:

Personally I have done 80 runs in parties of 4 and have not seen a single chest drop. That is 320 runs total, if you count each person as a run, and 0 chests.



Let's hear some other people's number of runs / chests seen ratios, shall we? Then we shall have a bit of an idea on the realistic chances of getting these items.

I did 5 runs yesterday got 1 chest with nothing in it and 6 runs today 1 chest nothing in it. TBh I dont even know what I'm looking for in them...I still havent read the announcement for tombs release and probably wont bc reading is dumb. I dunt even know what this expansion is tbh...dont care. All I care about is being notoriously bad with money and not selling them, OP Tank CTF GG.

Unsure how many runs but I've farmed 130 fragments and in that time dropped 5 elite planar chests of which Zeus bought 3 I'm sure he can testify. Four of those dropped with lep only. One dropped without any luck as I'd forgotten to put on my lep -.-

Also during those runs I've seen other party members drop maybe 4-5 chests too.

Hmm? I don't recall saying I had a problem with grinding or things being difficult. However, like most other players, I do have a problem with spending millions of hard-earned gold (or plat) on ankhs and elixirs for absolutely no return.

120 runs for a single chest with a 4% chance of anything but epics inside is absurd. BTW, at 10 minutes a run that is 20 hours of grinding.

Chests are blue, so I am starting to wonder if reroll actually rolls off them and into crates or whatever.
