Registration Issue

I registered using my correct e-mail address but never received a confirmation e-mail in my inbox or spam folder. I did however received the confirmation e-mail for this forums registration. When I attempt to log in with my phone into the game with this e-mail account it states that this account does not exist and won't allow me to log in or request another confirmation e-mail. When I attempted to register again, it is claiming this e-mail address account already exists. Don't these messaged contradict each other?

Following registration it stated that I needed to upgrade from software version 1.7 to 1.7.0.1. This failed due to space on my phone which required me to uninstalled 1.7 to install 1.7.0.1. Could this have invalidated my original e-mail address registration account? How do I correct my account registration so I can start to you this application?
