    Default Discussion About HP/MP Pot Usage

    Hey there.

    I'm really impressed on how many pots do the end game players has on every video/SS i've seen on last 10~12 days (since i started playing AL).
    Playing as a sorc i'm also impressed on the quantity of pots i've been using on KT4.
    Both my stats and spec are ok (Lv26: 190+ DMG / 600+ Armor).

    Question is: Is that the correct way on playing sorcs? i mean, we're supposed to burn all that pots every run?
    (not talking about heal skill. not the point here).

    PS: HP or Armor wich one works better for soloing survival?

    PS2: I'm talking about being a pure pve sorc - most soloing player.

    I honestly dont use pots except for elite bosses and mobs of anything higher than kraken and mostly in groups i use mana pots (which is really annoying as a mage....)
    It depends on what map you play on( guessing nordr or shuyal) and what skills you use..
    Armor is normally better than health
    If your running shuyal you'll be burning pots like crazy at your lvl. At Nordr youll still use pots but not to a crazy degree. wt4 same as nordr.
    Elite Nordr and up youll be spamming like crazy for solo unless your very very careful with mob control/ stuns

    Caabatric. The one nub sorcerer you wont forget.

    lvl 30 newbie.

    I only use pots for special situations like defeating a boss when it looks doable. Otherwise, I take the freebie and restart full. Usually I am solo and I'm in no rush. ☺

    (I am lvl41 mage with 1073 armor, 3.5k health, 470+ damage; I am also PvE only)
    In a run of wt4, I usually use less than 15 health potions, 0 mana potions (I have a 5.4k mana pool)
    Before fighting a group of enemies, I charge, then use Arcane Shield (5/5), then fight with a planar staff. When my health is below 30%, I charge and use Heal (5/5) restoring me back to 70-80% of my max hp.

    Personally, I would say more armor is better.
    example: sorcA has 2000 health, 100 armor; vs. sorcB has 1500 health, 500 armor;
    sorcB can take more damage knowing that his armor will decrease most of the damage.
    (I once ran with 3500 health, less than 1000 armor. Attacked a group of enemies in wt4, died in a few seconds;
    next, i ran with 3000 health, and 1142 armor. I was able to survive a group of enemies for a while more, before dying
    In both runs, i did not use Arcane Shield, nor Heal)

    But increasing both armor/health will greatly help.
