What's the difference?

whats the difference between custom armor and fortified armor?
and what is each used for?

Custom armor let's you design the stats I believe, fortified show the stats listed above. Just from what I've heard.

You need gems to improve the stats, that's why hawk eye gem is so much, it improves the damage of a customized weapon. Other gems improve different things on customized weapons when added to the recipe.

I'm not sure I haven't hit up much of crafting yet. Someone who may know would be KingRichie. I'm guessing fortified, but not sure.

For these custom gear, would you know where you can add the gems to? Are you only limited to one gem?

Since the only actual use I see for gems are in the 5-15 crafted gear.

I honestly don't have a clue. Royce or Richie may know, but I don't know with recipes since I am yet to try them, all vie done is flip through em. Sorry

Np. Been wondering myself really since i don't see how you can add stats to the crafted stuff yet. Unless it says something like "insert gem here". Lol

From what I see at farrow and Burke I don't think you can add anything. "Custom" is the name used for dex items while int uses "enchanted" and str uses "fortified".

The gems are used to craft low level pinks (5 & 15) hence why they only drop in FH.

one thing i noticed is that if u buy someone else's gemstone setting it wont check it if u are trying to craft. But the when i crafted my own gem it checks it?

They have to fix it, or there's no point of them being tradable.

This is answered in the "scam alert" posted here.....basically you bought the recipe, not the "item". If you tell him you want to craft a xbow base, you'll see the recipe box is checked.....means you have the recipe, not the item Hopefully, the devs are gonna fix this as it is very annoying.
