Just to conclude elf hats are dropping . A friend of mine was able to drop one from Santa . Took us a while though .

And you know for sure that your friend dropped it this year from Santa? Did you see them drop it?

There is a weird glitch in some cemetery missions where orange ghosts still pop up on rare occasions and they sometimes drop elf hats. I am thinking it almost makes more sense to farm orange ghosts for elf hats than santa. They pop up a lot less often but the drop rate is much better.

Yes I'm for sure I was with him when I noticed he dropped it I noticed on the chat box it said he dropped a sanguine elf hat . We were both shocked because we didn't think they were actually dropping . He dropped it from Santa what's odd is we did kill 2 Santas so I'm sure there is a glitch but the drop rates are either very random and rare. Now I regret not taking a screen shot

2 Santas ^_^ That's cool. I guess 1 was the evil jerk Santa we all keep seeing...and the other was the nice one that actually drops gifts. Thanks for the info.
