Just like finding breezaga last year eyes are a very rare drop.
What do you want us to do?
I'm at about 170 with no eye drop. Lots of people have over 100 kills and even 200 without any eyes. Oh well. I stopped using forged energy on this event a week ago and you should do the same. Energy is much better spent on an event that requires much fewer energy for rewards.
Maybe that's why it's expensive? Maybe that's why you want it? You wouldn't farm for something worthless...

You must have done it wrong
Heres how you do it, if you killed Syrillax and his lying on the ground:
(Warrior) Use a hammer, skyward smash its head so hard that the eyes will pop-out!
(Rogue) Use Shadow piercer upward to jump so high, then land on its head with your elbow so hard that the eyes will pop-out!
(Sorcerer) Use Clock, make sure that you charged it properly and also make sure that the clock will land on his head, and yes his eyes will pop-out!
~kidding aside, re-rolls don't help on eye drops niether. I always have a luck elixir kit and lepre ready whenever I farm Syrillax, only got one out of hundreds of runs.
I had 0 eyes with 400 syri kills
I got 2 from 400-460
Its all random
Some of my friends got 5/4/9 and even 13 of em
Its all luck

total syri kills - around 15, I'm almost inactive at this event...
