the pvp build?? I don't know if one exists. I know pretty much everyone uses Shield and Lightning, but beyond that there are all different builds.

True!! There is no "The" pvp build. Different people use different build according to their playstyle. Even some mages use different build for different situations.

Firstly, they are right about not having a standard build of sorcerers for PVP. All I can offer you is a build based on strategy by Instanthumor.

4/5 Shield - Without the knockback upgrade
4/5 Lightning - Without the Electrical Discharge (PvE) upgrade
3/5 Frost - With the Jagged Ice and Shiver upgrades (DoT and increased freeze/slow upgrades)
4/5 Fireball - Without the increased range upgrade
3/5 Lifegiver - With the mana upgrade and the HP regen upgrade

5/5 INT
5/5 STR
5/5 DEX
5/5 Crit
Adjust the build to your preference, and put the remaining skill points in Durable.

I tried using that and having succes but it seems that warriors know about this so they use windmill instead to slow me down and to knock me backwards while deal DOT
