Positives:
1. IMO the bosses were pretty much fun to beat. They were easy to beat but not to easy,which made me last to reach my goal in event.
2.Farming for energies was easy crafting

Negatives
1.The low drop rate I was getting for fire,glacial,and blood essences.
2.IMHO some of the new vanities were a huge disappointed. I did not like the recolored vanities.

1. Its easy to farm energy.
2. More bosses.
3. Easy to craft pets.
4. Duration of the event.

Negative
1. The new gem only favor to Rogues and Mages. I hate it very much!
2. Not much choice of item in token shop. More item needed example : armor, sword, bow etc.

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining us for this year's Winter Event. We had a lot of fun, got a lot of feedback and can't wait to see you in the next one. As of 1:30pm CST Balmy Bay is closed, portals are shut down and NPC's have gone home to their families to warm up. It's cold out there, you know!

If you have leftover seasonal items that can no longer be used, such as recipes, those can now be liquidated for gold*. Remember, energy is universal, so leftover kits and essences will be usable in the next energy event.

Let us know what you thought! What did you like? Dislike? What would you like to see in the next event? We know everyone likes to make their complaints known, but let's try and keep our posts upbeat with at least one positive to each negative.

*Please note: Like year round essences, seasonal crafting ingredients like ice dragon scales do not have a liquidation price.

Pros:
-new event to try out in game
-new items to get (ursume crates / vanity etc)
-better items from chests looted

Cons:
-recycling of vanity and pets from last year
-low drop rate of regular essences making crafting tarlok gems more difficult
-relatively short cool down time for people to spend/craft
-inability to stash energy to other char
-high pt value of tiers
-fairly OP tarlok/syrillax

I have a problem with crafting slots , now i have 117 ice scale and cant craft any more ursume locks .
If u do put more crafting slots or make it possible to crafting after the event would be awesome , thx .
I cant judge about this event cuz it was my second event ever (holloween 1st) but i would say it was really hard about points in each tier and LB , thx.

PROS: -The new graphics of winter event were cool
-Eye drop from syrillax was very good although it seems it was VERY rare??
-Tarlok gems make their return

My suggestion for next event is very hard sorry but try to be a bit more original with the ''special'' things you can get during a limited event they have to be rare to be special or they can be not rare AS LONG AS THEY ARE SPECIAL!!! for example: With the Snow Gloves you can throw snowballs at players all over arlor. Example of rare item: Vanity that makes it snow on you or leaves a snow/ice trail behind you

Another example xD: New emotes that can onlly be gained during these events !!! just like the game runescape that is one of the special things everyone can achieve with hard work that does not need buff or nerf because its just an emote(animation like wave or cry but with snow or something)


CONS: - Nothing was scarce(rare) exept syrillax eyes....The drop rate of dragon scales was way too high + You get 4 dragon scales everytime youy kill 5th boss = we cannot make profit making ursume crates with normal lockeds because EVERYONE is able to do it very frequently which means....Ursume Crates are not scarce, they loose value and flood the market
- Super Ice Chests did not have a chance at mythics anymore and they were also very common :/
- Reaching platinum tier seemed to take very long compared to last events ( my opinion) and reward was not very worth it...
- Overall this event was WAY TOO similar to the last events which is think is the main reason some people disliked it

MOST IMPORTANT TO ME: Getting Energy and Dragon Scales was way too easy this event+Had to do ALOT of runs to get to plat tier...My biggest suggestion: Make energy more scarce increase drop rate of good items like syrillax eye to compensate and maybe next event make the plat tier a bit harder to achieve

-Too many dragon scales, i could make my own kingdom with them
-Couldn't loot a single syrillax eye
-Basically loot was bad, i did not even loot a frist recipe

-Frost Fiend

Positives:
- extra boss, 5 instead of 4,
- tarlok's gems return, introduced a new gem (Eye).

Negatives:
- too little amounts of tokens given for bosses,
- I didn't like the new event town,
- zero interesting and good items in the token vendor,
- unbalanced essence drop, too much useless ice dragon scales,
- not enough good rewards for reaching tiers, but much points needed,
- many items from previous Winter Event, even the 3rd boss - Tarlok,
- increasing crafting time, zzz,
- only a few boring quests aviable.

In general, this event was horrible comparing to previous events in AL. Bad vanities, useless pets, new lockeds again. Poor rewards. No reason to play. Almost nothing new.

In my opinion, this was the worst event in Arcane Legends. I'm playing for 1+ year, played Winter Event 2013-2014, Goblin Littleridge Event, Ursoth's Assault (2x Gold, Gold was maximum), Halloweem Event 2014 (2x Platinum), and finally Winter Event 2014-2015 (1x Gold). Ursoth's Assault was much better, much more interesting. Even the last year's Winter Event was better. This was NOT FUN - JUST USUAL EVENT WITH NO REASON TO PLAY :/

My suggestions:
- introduce something new, not that stupid new lockeds which were used in 3 events,
- make Forged Event Energy Kits stashable,
- stop decreasing the token rewards for bosses (yes, I remeber that last year the reward for Tarlok was 40 tokens xD),
- remove energy system, do it like you did in Winter Event 2013-2014 (need to find portals).

Good:

It was long. Making it easy to farm bosses better. I mean running since we had plenty of time than stay overnight Xp

Essences like scales and energy dropped appropriately for me.

New legendaries pets like yowie which is a really good pet for solos on my mage. Big thanks to the dev team.

Negatives

Other essences did not drop in a proper way. Klaas's luck elixir totally screwed my scale drops.

Syrilaxs eye did not drop moderately or rarely. Instead it dropped like a player hardcoring for 1 eye which took 400++ runs and it was like a legend material to get which wasnt worth it in game. Not very much rewarding or worth the effort rather.

Unusual lags spiking (not sure if this is actually a bug/problem with the server or my connection....)

Event remained un inspired causing no one to rush for plat tiers.

Well , i did not like it much as it wasnt as rewarding as per the halloween event which i missed out but i definetly heard about due to the paracelsus soulstone.

But still big thanks on the event.

-Rogue vanity is awesome!
-Frost bow is the most beautiful bow to date!
-tarlok gems were back and worth crafting
-bosses were manageable and less op than halloween
-boss had chance to drop eye which was worth running even when plat tier was reached
-rerolled an event crate was great!

Negatives
-no way a free and not rich player can reach lb
-twinks can still compete and level 15 was OP
-dragon scales kept clogging up inventory
-crafting energy felt too long
-not enough crafting spots

-I like the gold tier reward
-The golem vanity was cool although i didnt get

-Ice dragon scales dropped too much
-Shop needs more items
-Boss gives too less points
-It gets boring as you need to repeat the same dungeons again to get points
-Too much points to plat thats why i didnt bother after reaching gold
-Chests have really bad rewards like 2 tokens srsly?

The event was awesome. It was something to occupy our time before next expansion? Hint.....hint.

Positives:
●LB vanitys are good.
●Yowie have nice stats.
●Bosses were balanced. Possible to kill on low lvl (7-10)
●Decorations in towns were very good ☺
●Pets return. New craftable egg.

Negatives:
●Vanitys. Only recoloured vanities from winter event 2013? I expected at least same vanities or some new.
P.S.: Permafrost vanity set is ugly... (sorry for this words, but it's true.)
●No good loot in greater chests except from frist recipe and some cheep armor.
●Many bugs. Nice work that most of them were fixed
●Frost fiend. In event time I made a new character. Impossible to kill frost on low lvl... He was killing me in few shots.
●I was getting 50% of time in rooms with lvl 37-39... Idk why, but when they see syrrilax, they run out of card and I need to find someone else to help me. (Luckily I'm in guild where many people can help me.)

So I think it was a nice event. But I know that you can do better work STS. Hope u will make next events a little better

Gorgeous LB vanities, especially rogue's one... My fav vanity... Tho, I really would like to see no lb vanities at such design level
I enjoyed design of the whole lairs and event. It was marvelous for me. Especially snowflakes falling on every map That is what i miss the most in Poland winter this days.

I like the bosses they were fun and had cool sound effects.

Negative:
I have event energy in my inventory and i cant get rid of them and i dont have the space to hold them... What do i do??

Yowie was the best thing we could have loot/receive
Last boss 5th we need more of this 'madness' fights
Frist was 'ok'

Negative: (what shud it be)
5 Characters plat tier (didn't loot any eye from boss)
Received 5 eye recipes i never used.. (let us LOOT atleast 1 eye before gettin plat tier)
Everything recolored and was so expensive in tokens.. (New vanitys)
Greater ice chest (No mythics lootable) (it shud be same as Halloween where they dropped from greater pumpkin chest)
Instead of making gold i lost more gold
4 weeks was to long everything went HYPER cheap.
Crafting (5 slots LMAO with a event we shud atleast receive 10 slots)
Forged energy kits (Make them stashable)
Ice scales essences come on.. i still have 400 left in my inventory?????????
Tokens shop (We need atleast to have the choice in 20 different things)

Overall this was a failure.

1: The bosses didn't give a lot of points so much more grind than last winter event and a lot more gold waste since there is the use of "energy" to actually run the event.

2. Vanities were horrible, worst I've seen so far.

3. Unoriginal pets to get, mostly all were re colored and even considered "new."

4. Off topic but.... No Sorcerer buff yet, the one we got was a "buff"???? Hmm ._.......

5. Same ol thing from other events, nothing new. Same old bland thing.
Positives:
1. The eye of Syllirax can be looted!

2. No more positives, the event was horrid and how is it even considered the name of an "event"?

Hold up hold up, the warrior vanity was incredible with fx. Mage vanity was pretty big. The head is bigger than the body though ha, it's cute, the rogue vanity is just stunning

-This event made me rich i have killed 48 syrillax on my main and looted 3 eye so far!
-The vanity for rouge was great
-Bosses are well made and balance
-Snowy/Snowball Can be looted!
-Guess what? locks cost 10k lol
-When killing 5th Boss Grants so many pointS and good loots
-New Pet! Yowie And Frist!
-New mysthics where cool
-The Npc's has nice accents of speaking ^^
Negative
-I wish i can upgrade my crafting station :\
-Syrillax Can one hit any lvl 41 with his tail
-Hydra's or serpent or snakes whatever has a high chance of stunning
-Eye of Syrillax Doesn't Give Effects like paracelsus
-ThePerma Helm Vanity for rouge i don't feel it fits with the chest vanity :/
-Bugs!
-Wasted energies
-This is a joke 3 dots(energy) only? make it 5 lol
-There no new original/none re skin pet :/
-No Mythic Pet? for 900 tokens
-Frist recipe chance is so low at list i got one xD
-A re skin of the 2013 xmas event instead of red its blu
-Frost bow needs more proc
