Magic shield bug

Hi,
My magic shield got me killed quite a few times yesterday due to malfunction I activated Magic shield, button indicated it was active, but the shield never showed up. I talked to a few other enchantesses and they had the same problem.

Did this happen in Baelfort Sewers?

Two possibilities:

1. You used it a second too late, when you were too low on HP, and even if it activated, a few shots hit your health which killed you.

or

2. You had it on, but a Bird mob used Blast Shot on it which removes Mana Shield.

Possible?

Aaaaaahh, never thought about those birds! of cause, if they have blast shot that would be a very likely explanation! Thank you very much for that information, I will be more careful from now on

Do remember that barrels also remove the shield and other buffs.
