Even the lost soul scythe is better than kershal, an elon gun is far more superior in any aspect(km3, elite,pvp).
Elon gun is the best weapon for mages right now. Kershals time never really came and then it was over. No buff can save it!

That's probably because Ker'Shal gives more HP. But that 200/300 HP shouldn't really matter, just use enough pots.
I own kershal and elon rifle, never had schyte, but that lowers stats so much it seems useless compared to kershal in my opinion. But again never tested. Elon rifle and kershal i run wt4 same time with both weapons, but on elite bosses rifle beats kershal to the ground.. in pvp rifles shine, but have not done to much pvp:/

IMO, elon rifle is still the best gun. And it continues to be as it has a auto-attack shield, root, and it gives more hp. Also the armor stacking by 5times is way OP. So yeah you' be taking less damage when your armor increases. Ker'shal didnt shine enough even for a season or so(idk im kinda new) so yeah its nerf caused its price and worth down down down. But yeah ker'shal is good. I still prefer a elon gun or a frost touched rifle.
I cant sell eighter, love em bothI know kershal has issues. Allmost NO dmg on charged normal attack...! U cannot charge it, and in party its pain to aim sometimes. But the crit is amazing imo. With it i have 43% crit, and 1% crit beat 20dmg and 3% bonus dmg when your int is high anyway.
Equip scythe then look at your skill damage, not your avatar page numbers. Scythe will be higher then kersh. Any lvl41 mythic is better than the old arcane.

Note : scythe has 1 para and 2 tarlok wisdom gems and i m comparing with perf kershal and frost gun
He said skill dmg, not damage. Scythe has about 40 more skill damage or more then kersh.Hell no..

Its similar like maul vs bonesaw,bonesaw hits higher despite the lower damage on stat screen. But maul got a very awesome proc which makes it still usefull, kershal got a crap proc.
60 int every 15-20 normal hits not really bad.. and u cannot really compare 36 arcane to a 31 arcane.....
That 60 int is nothing, compared to the armor reduction of maul or elon rifle. Just looks good on stat page, nothing more.

It makes a cute snowball at the end when you charge.
I love the looks of Kershal but, it is a weak weapon, heck it misses the arrest a good percentage of the time, and when charged it's damage goes down (I don't understand that), the proc is worthless. But it looks cool. The elo is the best weapon out for mages best roc hands down and strong damage. However until they get the auto aim fixed Its become a hinders nice to use. But hands down elo over kersh. Please sts fix the kersh... It's been how long since you've said you were gonna fix
