Best Weapon for DPS?

Hey what weapon gives the most dps? I've heard that archer have the best dps bc of bows. It that because of their skill concentration which gives great hit rate? I've used bow before but their dps seems really low..

The highest DPS would most probably come from daggers.

Since DPS means Damage per second, the faster your weapon attacks and even with a decent base damage, it would give you high DPS.

Having high DPS doesn't mean your doing high damage though, since the actual damage your doing is taken from your base damage (the stat on top of DPS) - armour of the target.

So lets say you have 100 DPS, but your base damage is only 50, when you attack a mob with an armour of 40, you'd only be doing 10 damage.

But if you have around 80 DPS only, but you have 70 base damage vs a 40 armour mob, you'd be doing 30 damage.

And birds have really high DPS because of their armour breaking skills, along with their high damaging skills. The concentration skill helps, since it allows you to do more crits too.

It depends on which level range.

For end game its currently recurves (bows). But overall, I think Gurgox Hammer has the highest.

Magic stilletto on a Dex bear.. 404 dps buffed. Yum. I think tthat was with no gear..just the weapons tho.

The DPS on daggers is totally misleading, because the average dmg per hit is low...when you take enemy armor into effect, they don't do anywhere near that much damage

Try full henchman with dagger on bear. It is unsane!

Personally I was dissapointed with the level 55 daggers....

That's why dagger is most used by Dex bears. The 60 damage from rage goes a long way.

True true, but it especially affects the daggers, because the base damage is pretty low. But the weapon speed on the daggers is crazy.
