What does it do?
Jesma - LVL 53 Mage
Tempestorz - LVL 51 Bird
Gardestrike - LVL 35 Voodoo Mage
Mezmizer - LVL 33 Bear
I've learned enough about PL to know that everytime I assume something it is wrong so all I'll observe here is that I can make my Shadow Hax proc Execute with any stunning skill:
- Hellscream
- Super Mega Slash
- Beckon
- Stomp
When testing with only using the test skill in question, each of these let the Hax proc Execute when hitting a stunned target (stars & standing still, not stars & moving.)
i think that you can only have the execute proc when using a vibra longsword or the hax
im probably wrong, check with royce
Yeah but I don't think anyone knew it worked with stuns in general. Ever since AO3 came out with the Vibra, people have been calling it a hellscream combo.
Edit: and this actually changes a lot of things. I'd have to look at all the stat differences with Fury and Royal gear, but if you space out stun skills you could be executing pretty continuously, which would give you a huge DPS increase with the Hate set...
I mentioned it procs with avian scream as well. So yeah, a stun is a Execute. Nice.
I'm too color-blind to tell for sure, but there's also a visual effect of the Execute proc that looks a lot like the Heal animation. It would be cool if the pallet changed from green to red for the standard green is good & red is bad convention. But I can't tell.
Anyone with working eyes see the color on those wisps?
Ya, I just ran the goblin tunnel with another Hate Hax bear and it was like butter. Just a constant stream of Executions & we were timing well & taking turns our pull/stomps (gg Bujin).
Watch for the wisps, the first couple times I saw it I was like: Stealth goblin king w/hidden totem spam heal cheater! But it makes them die fast & even non-healing mobs with no mages around will show it. Btw, we did gk too, & he is immune to Execution from what i saw, likely because he is immune to stun.
So no healers in range, Execution seems to make this visual effect on some mobs.
