A guildie saw him standing in a town, and asked him/her politely if they'd like to visit our guild. The Dev/Mod said yes and, then stopped in for a quick visit, then left. There was no favortism, just right place, right time

Ya it was random! Yall be nice because when we become negative with their visits they won't come in game. A guildie saw cupid in town and asked to join the guild for a minute. We were able to rally people to log on quick via line, took a few pictures, and he went on his way. Thanks for the visit Cupid!
Why do people get so mad over nothing. Few things to remember.
1) its a game, getting a dev to visit doesnt mean winning the lottery, the person leaves after 5min.
2) You literelly do nothing for those 5min that the dev is there, you just ask some questions, and depending how interested your guild is in those kinda stuff, you get the response, for a few questions. its cool to have a dev, its fun too. But its ruining the experience when people just getting mad. Do you see any other people complaining? :/
3) - What Ral said. I wasnt there, I missed the dev. And Im FROM enig. Which kinda sucks. But i got over it. Because I got to see the video of the dev. As if i saw him there beside my character. What you saw is what happened. Remember that. Dont be sad cuz a guild got lucky and got a dev to join. I'm sure we didnt have a rave after the video ended.

And notyocookiez I can see your point, I've seen a few posts with mods/devs in particular guild halls and wondered why other guilds don't seem to get visited. It appears you leapt to a conclusion which was unjustified but not entirely unwarranted. IMO.
