Ellyidol on PL : Hideout Run

This is the video I was able to do (thanks Physiologic for the idea).

It was a random group, and luckily was able to be the only bear.

Please excuse the audio, if ever. Was just in living room and TV with siblings around.

I played and took the video from an iPhone, when I usually play on an iPad. Ping wasn't the best, so you can see some lagging. Also don't mind the speed of the run, since this was again a random group and I just wanted to show an actual video.

This was taken from my Balefort Sewers Bear Play Guide.

Nice, I'm a bear and this was helpful, just like Physiologic's video. Only difference is, I don't have a high level archer.

I'll TRY to video a full out run, maybe with Phys and other friends, but it just took a bit of time and effort to video to just do it anytime.

2 books as a stand + iPhone + paper weight for iPhone to lean on. Lol

Great vid should show some bears how to run properly. And this will show a lot of players why bears can be that awesome in a group.

This video not only showed me a lot of tips, but it actually settled a lot of my uneasiness about the bear in the end game. It actually looks like it's a lot of fun.

Yes we should definitely do a joint video together and pull off those 3:30 hideouts! Maybe have a mage record his/her side of the run as well.

If only you got our 2-man hideout run. Would have been perfect for both our videos. Lol!

We can record another one of those as well

I need to find a way to stabilize my phone while I play though..

Same. It's not as easy having to borrow my sisters phone to take a video, plus actually balancing it on top of books. Wish my digicam worked so i could get better quality too.

I'm off for the day and should be able to play more tomorrow. Hope we can get a complete group on

I predict 3:30 with no pots, possibly sub-3:00 with dmg pots.

Great vid Elly. Almost anytime I play with my bear in Hideout (or other BS levels) I think to myself WWED: "What Would Elly Do?"

Your guides and now this vid are great tools.

We could do a dmg/speed pot death train run..... We could get below the 3:07 mark we set last time.

Dang, I feel like the sixth wheel. I want in the speed runs. Those runs with Mooger, Ellyidol and Echelong were the fastest Hideout runs yet. I think we were all runing damage pots. Add in speed pots and we could probably hit below the 3 minute mark.

At the risk of semi-hijacking the thread...at least one of us mentioned is usually on, and usually farming (hopefully) speedily somewhere. No one is a sixth-wheel, yeah those runs the other day were pretty quick Doubletime

Most have their ign as their forum name or in their sigs.

We were just putting together a group of us for a couple of "video runs" who have known each other a while and know each other's moves, in order to get a good quality video
