It's not a waste actually, for 15 platinum you may get gyrm and if you do this for 10 times and sell all of them you will get something around 3-4m gold with maybe less than 200 platinum.

Its those pet crates rather. Same thing like lockeds, except they grant 1 egg per crate and buying or opening price is stillll the samee. 15 to open and 15 to buy...

You can get gyrm, the goblin event pet from this. The chance may seem low but open less to get a better chance ,)
