The reason...

So I can still show off my regular helmet underneath and still get the +1 AC from the vanity slot.

Been suggested, also that you can hide your vanity helm, the +1 armor isn't supposed to be there, and devs said they'd fix, but it hasn't been yet.

Just use the "hide vanity" option in the player options menu.

Well ya supposedly the +1 armor is not supposed to be there. Don't know why it is. If it were like that tho there would be no reason for a hide vanity option. But since there is an armor bonus we want a hide vanity option lol.

I wish there was a hide vanity option in real life.
Could have saved me lots of wasted time.

I just looked into it and found the "hide hat" option. A bit vague but I see it now.

I think it is fix'd. The vainty says +1 armour, but when you show it it says +0 armour next to your stats.
