On/Off Friend Notification

Hi i have some trouble noticing when my friends are on or off

So! im suggesting there be a notice in RED if possible flashing for around 2-3 sec in the corner of your screen somewhere!

please make it small because i really hate big words that distract me

by small i mean the size of your name on the top left

anyways if you can do this without creating my frame lag then yes i'm for it

but if it adds frame lag, then no

I like this suggestion!
if I could flag my friends for status updates that would be great.
If I could make a suggestion - the status update should appear in the chat window so that if I'm in a crazy boss battle it won't distract me but if I'm not I'll see it and be able to respond. I just hope this wouldn't turn into a stalking method. Maybe we'd need a "sign in as invisible."

I'd like to see the latest "invites" appear on the friend list. Maybe keep them there until the friend leaves the area they invited you to. I often get invited to multiple areas, but can't keep track of exactly who invited where by the time I go to the list to find the Join button...

I also like the idea of being able to sign in invisible. Sometimes I'm just idle farming FH and don't want to get people's hopes up that I might be able to join them. Waste of their time to see me in the list.
