Hey guys! So I was wondering, what references in AL have you noticed? For one I noticed that the Dragonscale armour etc. is referenced to Skyrim! I'd like to hear what you guys find.

The troll Abomination (Boss in second map of Tindirin) says:
YOU SHALL NOT PASS - reference to Gandalf, Lord of the Rings
Patrik's "Baruk khazad, khazad ai menu!" is Gimli's war cry in Lord of The Rings.
Many npc names in last year's Ursoth event were borrowed from Tolkien's Silmarillion. I can only remember Idril now, but there were at least three that were names of female elves and women.
Bryce banner (used to give flags) was a reference to bruce banner i think, hence the green armor. I think rendtail looks like a red wingless smaug. Bael is a reference to the demon Baal (sometimes spelled "Bael") which is one of the seven princes of hell according to old books. And i think nordr expansion is based off Valhalla (norse mythology) which explains the viking looks of grimnr, the maul of orellus (mjolnir) and Hall of Valheim (Hall of valhala ("hall of the slain")).
The warrior skill Juggernaut under the upgrade: "Unstoppable"
The description reads "Nothing stops the Juggernaut"
This is from X-Men comics and X-men Saturday morning cartoon from the 90s.
All dragon pets have 1 tooth. Reference to "How to train your dragon"
