IDK why they call low level pvpers twinks, from what I understand

Twink = Toon which is = your character.
I'd rather be called a toon than twink. "hey noob toon" or lowpvp.

Twink refers to a below lv cap character with the best gear. It's typically outfitted by an end game character that can afford to get them the best gear.

In AL it refers to a pvp toon that's locked in a certain lv bracket and not lvling up, but in other games this can differ slightly

The name Twink comes from all the twinkly shiny top gear they are wearing

Agree we need to find a better word. I cringe when I hear/read it, but especially when an STS employee uses it.
