Without buying energy, just farming those altars I made 400tokens day 1.
I probably couldnt do it without a guild. Because people invite everyone in the guild whet they open portal. So join a guild with decent online

to clarify, to get 1500 tokens took around 100 runs, at 15k energy its 1.5m, also u get the freebie energy every 8 hours, can craft energy and sometimes bosses drop a energy ball, so ill say the cost isnt more than 1m to get nightshade.

I already got whit forget energy from previous event

The thing is a I don't have 1m.. Or Id have nightshade in a hour..lol.. The bosses never give a good amount of tokens :/

This. The original goblin event last year was only a week long test event for the real ones that followed.

The time does seem tight, but you do have the choice in the way you get nightshade:

1. If you want if free without buying energy for gold/plat, then you are gonna have to farm extremely hard for altars and energy essences. It's definitely feasible... Free, but not easy.

Or

2. You can take the shortcut and buy nightshade directly with tokens purchased for plat (750 plat to be precise).

I like the shorter duration... I find that when events last longer people have fun at first but after a couple of weeks start to get bored, and by the end feel like they will be happy never to see for example Helena or Tarlok ever again.

This event is short so... people will have an intense period of fun and then be sad when it's over... which is a better result imo

Yeah it does. Atm im crafting a relic but I hear it's rare to find altars.

Yeah farming is pretty hard if you want to get it the free way, but altars are a big help!

The first Goblin raid didnt even last a week I thinK and yeah getting to 1.5k token without plat is fun.

I recently got my nightshade less than an hour ago. Yesterday I had 400 tokens, today I got to 1.5k. I only bought 6-7 energies, rest were crafted, two donated by a guildmate. I ran the whole day today of free portals and energy runs/farming. Took me 12 hours(with breaks for chores and eating), and I got 1.1k. It is very do-able

Free Portals:
Assuming you get 10 free portals in a week and re-skinned glob boss 10 x 26 = (260 tokens)

1 energy (5 plats/ 12-15k ) get you an average 10 tokens

Free energy
3 free energies to start with and 6 x 3 energies every day = 21 free energies (210 tokens). *

Farmed energy
farm and craft 5 every 2 hours x 7 days = 35 free energies (350 tokens) **


Total tokens from free energy = 260 + 210 + 350 = 820

What you may need to buy: 1500 - 820 = 680 tokens = 68 energy

For 680 energies you would need 68 tokens = 340 Plats or 986000 (energy bought @14500 per piece)

Nightshade is a pet worth more than 1m, if you could farm for energies for 4 hours and craft 10/ day, the gold you spend would be halved. Also thanks to STS for this event which has something for everyone - p2p, f2p, twinks and end gamer.


* There are free energy drops from the event boss is quite random and hence not included in the calculation** I had lots farmed from previous event which reduced the cost of first nightshade on main to zero (excluding pots)
