enable player context menu outside of towns, its in game options
its a bug. just restart ur game

But I can't click party people in towns either...
what device are you playing on?
Force stop the app if on android, shut down your device on iOS, and....kill the chrome browser (if on PC)

Sometimes the text box is bigger than it appears. I think for chrome, ios? not sure what devices, etc.
Basically close the text box and you can click on any person now. For me, this applies to all characters on the chatbox side of the window. I minimize the chatbox to be just on top, but it actually covers pretty much that entire column. Everything on that side of the screen, as long as any part of the chatbox is open, cannot be clicked upon.
You have to move so it's on the other side or close the chatbox.

For those playing on mobile this is good. You don't accidentally start interacting (trade, message..etc) with other players who are closer to pots and attack buttons.
This is a hardwae-software connection problem. Basically what you have to do in order to fix it is to shut your phone off and give it 3 slight taps and 3 harder taps on the back. Then power your phone back on and your problem will be solved.
