Soloing Sewers...
I'm wondering what anyone has managed to solo in the sewers... or that said, what is possible? I managed to do catacombs including the trash heap (thanks for the green) but the other bosses seem unlikely. I guess a bird or ranged mage could kite the cockroach or goldfinger around if they are careful.
Then again at nearly 30 minutes a run its probably only worth it if nobody is running anything.

Are you talking about pre GCD or post GCD?
The Goblin king may be impossible to solo due to the nature of the Totems HP and the inability for any class to take it down even with damage pots. The Queen has been soloed before by Ayrilana pre-GCD but not sure if its possible now. All the other bosses can be soloed.

Haven't tried it post but I used to do Goldfinger pre.
Good to know! Actually I know I can tank the queen solo just not sure that I could actually do the damage to kill her.
Is the cockroach just kited?

Damage pots would be an absolute necessity at all times during the fight with the Queen. I believe Ayrilana said the fight lasted 20 minutes+ pre-GCD, so it was still quite a feat to solo pre-GCD as a mage (and easier as an archer).
And yes you're correct- Roach is kited, and especially essential to do so after his 3rd or 4th "Cockroach Power!"

Queen took about 18 min using pots pre-GCD. This was using the Keeper Enchantress set and not the MM set. Goblin King can be solo'd but it'd be extremely close. I was able to destroy the totem quick enough but it's very close and likely due to luck based on crits. I doubt it's possible post-GCD. Goldfever can be solo'd as well as trash heap. You might be able to solo cockroach depending on whether you can avoid his huge attack buff.

Not meant to be a solo game. You get more XP in a full group.
Some of us at 56 don't get XP. I solo because I'm bored and I like the challenge. You actually learn more about your character and how to play if you can solo.
Edit: i'll try and solo the king/queen tonight and see if it's still possible. If I can thrn I'm sure a bird can.

Queen can still be solo'd post-GCD. Took about 9 min using MM set with gemstone staff. I'm sure a bird should be much quicker.
I'd personally say that GDC is perfect right where it is.
